“Now if you had a bunch of partners all contributing content and links, that could be a very powerful blog.”
Back in 2009 Dave Foreman and I had an idea. I am so very proud that this year we can celebrate the ten year anniversary of the success of that idea.
Many people say that “internet years” should be measured like “dog years”. A lot has happened in our industry and a lot has been accomplished on our site in 10 years.
We started the ERP Software Blog with just 14 visionary Microsoft Dynamics GP Partners as members. Currently we have 124 Microsoft Dynamics ERP Partners participating, across all product lines.
In the last 10 years the ERP Software Blog site has had over 4 million visitors.
We’ve sent more than 8,500 ERP leads to our members.
Our most popular post, written in 2017, has received more than 66,000 views. Our top five posts have received more than 167,000 views combined:
We have released seven white papers, written with help by our members, which have been downloaded nearly 6,000 times.
As I said in my post, The History of How the ERP Software Blog Actually Got Started, “What started as just a small idea has truly changed my life and my career and it is something that I am thankful for each and every day.”
Dave Foreman and I are grateful to all the Microsoft Dynamics ERP Partners that have supported the site. Our members are the real reason the site has been so successful. All of us, together, are truly “using the power of the group.”
I would also like to give a special thanks to Stacy Orr, who works behind the scenes, but has been a trustworthy assistant, and friend, to me for more than ten years. I can not imagine doing this without her help.
The ERP Software Blog proves that one good idea has the power to change your life! So just keep brainstorming.
